Cocoa Beach, Florida - Fawlty Towers Motel
This place was right at the beach. It was alright. Of course we didn't plan ahead and the hotels ON the beach were booked :) But this one was right across thes treet, and the name made me chuckle. It's a very funny series on BBC :) And they allowed dogs, so that's a bonus. But no dogs on the beaches... sigh. We stayed 2 nights.
Cocoa Beach Surf Company
Next door to the Ron Jon Surf Shop, across Marion Rd. on A1A, is the Cocoa Beach Surf Company. A direct competitor with Ron Jon, it has a parking garage, a Sheraton Hotel, the Shark Pit Bar & Grille and a Starbucks located within. It has three floors, an elevator and escalators. Yet it still is nowhere near as big as Ron Jon!
